Ortiz Goes Off in Baltimore

Dvid Ortiz, the ageless slugger, passes Ted Williams for the most seasons with 30 HR's & 100 RBI with his 2 homers & 3 RBI last night at Camden Yards. Sox win in 10 innings with Big Papi delivering the winning 2-run blast in the 10th. Nice to see Rusney throw out a runner at the plate as well. Back to Ortiz. How long can he defy time? Hopefully, one more year in 2015. But Ben is building a team with sluggers to replace the Sox fixture at DH at some point in the future. I'm sure Ortiz would like to be part of one more championship team before he calls it quits, but you can't argue with 3 rings & 1 MVP award. That's a lifetime of winning for most other players. No doubt the whispers of steroid use will continue. Only Ortiz knows for sure & he has passed every PED test this year thus far. Too bad that we fans are all jaded by the A-Rod's & Ryan Braun's of the game.
