Sox Beat Royals 6-3

How many times this year have you been able to say Will Middlebrooks got 2 hits? Not many. But he did in last night's 6-3 win over the KC Royals. Too little, too late? Time will tell. Another workmanlike game by Clay Buchholz who got the win, pitching into the 7th inning & allowing only 3 runs. Do you believe that Buck can deliver 25 to 30 starts like this next year? I don't, but he has probably done enough to keep his spot in the rotation for next year. The bullpen of Layne, Tazawa & Mujica were very good in closing out the game. A big loss for Kansas City, a team trying to hold off the Tigers in the AL Central. Still lots of questions for the Red Sox as they decide who stays & who goes before heading to Fort Myers in February.
