Sox Get Beat 3-1 in Finale

Taking 2 out of 3 from any team is always good. So, by that measure, the Red Sox had a good series at home against the Blue Jays this weekend. Middlebrooks is fielding the ball very well at 3rd. Now if he could only get the bat going. You know you're going bad at the plate when the announcers start talking about how you hit the ball hard while still making an out - something Middlebrooks did do on Saturday. Bogaerts & Betts are still hitting the ball well & playing well in the field. The Sox certainly put a crimp in the Jays season as the number of games tick away in September. Toronto is done. I just hope that the A's, Detroit & Seattle keep the Yankees out of the wild card hunt. Maybe a dark horse like Terry Francona's Indians will slip into another wild card berth this year. Should be a good race to the finish. Go Royals!
