Chris Davis: Selfish & Stupid

The Baltimore Orioles lose Chris Davis for 25 games due to his illegal taking of the stimulent adderol. Davis had already been warned once about the use of adderol, but I guess he thought no one would check him again. You guessed wrong!! I always thought that his 50+ homers last year were too good to be true, especially for a guy who usually hit 25-30. Mark Muldar from ESPN's Baseball Tonight got it right. He said Davis was selfish & stupid, leaving his team in search of their 3rd 3B as Davis was replacing Machado at 3B. His suspension will run through the ALDS & most of the ALCS. If the O's go to the World Series, do they activate Davis? I say no. Even Buck Showalter said it's hard to complain when the violation by the player is self-inflicted. Stupid & selfish - perfectly put.
