Rusney Castillo & Cristian Vazquez both hit their first Fenway homers last night as the Sox stomped on Joe Maddon's boys 11-1. Nice effort by Allen Webster who may be getting comfortable - finally - at the big league level. 3 more against the Yankees & it's over. The Red Sox & Yankees rivalry has not been the same with both teams out of the playoffs. But it's still fun to beat the pinstripers anytime. Another year that the yankees get older without making the playoffs & with aging stars like Teixeira & Beltran & A-Rod who can't stay on the field. It may be awhile after Jeter's departure before the Bronx bombers come alive again in the AL East.
