Week 2 of National "Convict" League
Ray Rice - enough said. Several more football players are facing bans for domestic violence to their wives, to their children, to their girl friends. To me the worst part of this tragedy, beside Roger Goddell's "I never saw the tape" statement, is the reaction of support by some women. USA Today showed 2 women walking into the Ravens stadium with Ray Rice jerseys on & saying they believe in Ray. Why noy set women back 100 years! And then you have Rice's wife standing by her man who knocked her out & dragged her out of an elevator. No remorse. Everyone knows that she's standing by her man because of his $40 million contract which is on the line. She wants her payday. In previous years it was players & guns, shooting girl friends, shooting themselves, shooting others like Aaron Hernandez. But the National Convict League will go on & on as long as fans keep buying tickets & keep buying merchandise.
