Consistently Inconsistent

How's this for describing the Red Sox?  Consistently inconsistent.  For the better part of a month the Sox offense was on vacation while the pitching was good.  Now the Sox offense is scoring runs, but the pitching has turned sour.  Sox lose 13-10 last night after leading 8-1.  Bullpen gives up 9 runs in the 7th inning.  Another demoralizing loss.  Teams that are more consistent on a nightly basis go to the top.  Teams that are mostly inconsistent go to the bottom.  We are at the bottom.
