Swihart Gets the Call

It's always exciting to get a call up to the big leagues.  Unfortunately, it comes after an injury to C Ryan Hanigan who had been settling in to the #1 catching job.  Blake Swihart, the switch-hitting highly touted prospect, joins the Red Sox today as the back-up catcher to Sandy Leon.  First Vazquez, now Hanigan.  The Sox are going through a catcher a month.  At least Hanigan should return in a couple of months.  In the meantime, Blake Swihart gets a taste of big league life.  Swihart will bring more offense than Leon.  He can also be used as a pinch-hitter off the bench.  Good luck, Blake!
