Signs of Life
Red Sox outhit the Angels 12-6 & won the middle game last night 8-3. Mike Napoli blasted 2 homers off of his former team. Mookie Betts & Xander Bogaerts got timely hits to drive in 2 runs a piece. And Steven Wright gave a quality start after giving up 2 runs in the 1st. The change of Wright for Masterson certainly seems to be working. As one newspaper column said today, the Sox are stuck with the current roster of Pedroia, Pablo, Hanley, Ortiz & Napoli. That's your 2 through 6 in the batting order. They have to perform offensively if this team is to go anywhere. Good signs that they scored 5 & 8 runs in the past 2 nights. Keep that up & more wins are sure to follow.
