Pathtic Offense in 7-0 Loss

Pathetic.  Ugly.  Choking.  Underperforming.  Lifeless.  These are just a few words to describe the Red Sox offense, or lack thereof, in Toronto last night during a 7-0 beating at the hands of the Jays.  If it wasn't for my grandson watching the game with me, I would have been cussin' & throwing stuff at the TV.  Bases loaded, no outs.  1st & 2nd, no outs.  And we can't score 1 stinkin' run!  What a joke!  The Red Sox average with RISP in 0.56.  No clutch hits.  After posting a record of 12-10 in April the Sox are 1-6 in May.  They are also 6-13 in their last 19 games after starting the season 7-3.  It's bad when NESN's pre & post-game show is more about A-Rod, the Yankees & the weather than the Red Sox.  NESN's ratings will be at zero by the end of May if this trend keeps up.  I may need to put a bag over my head if this team keeps turning out lackluster performances like last night.  Or I may just stop watching.
