No Money Shot
Call it what you will, but the Red Sox offense is choking with RISP & it's costing them several losses in well-pitched games by their starters. Same story last night in a 2-1 loss to the Texas Rangers. Quality start by Joe Kelly who went 7 innings & gave up just 2 runs. Good job by the bullpen. Sox offense, however, leaves multiple runners throughout the game, scoring their sole run on a homer by X-man. Hanley looked pathetic in LF, doing his best "Manny" impression when a ball slipped out of his hand allowing a runner to move to 3rd. Next year can't come fast enough to get Hanley back into the infield either at 1B or 3B with Panda taking the other corner spot. Time for a Rusney call-up & some hard decisions to be made about the future of Victorino, Bradley, Nava & Napoli.
