Time for Real Games to Begin

Spring training is over.  29 games is way too many, but it's over.  Yu Darvish, Cristian Vazquez & a Mets pitcher are among the early casualties of a lost season due to Tommy John surgery.  A-Rod is back playing for the Yankees.  A number of players are getting use to wearing a new uniform, including Hanley Ramirez & Pablo Sandoval.  The Cubs & Jon Lester start the season tonight against Adam Wainwright & the Cardinals.  We start in Phillie tomorrow with no DH due to NL rules.  Cole Hamels is pitching against the Red Sox.  You wonder if he will be in a Red Sox uniform before the year is over.  Clay Buchholz gets to prove that he is the good Buck from the first half of 2013, not the subpar pitcher from 2014.  Look for lots of work out of the bullpen in these early games, including work from new faces Vavaro, Ogando & Ross.  Time for game 1 of 2015 - finally!  Bring it!
