Red Sox Win Opener 8-0
Things went right in Phillie today. Clay Buchholz pitched like it was 2013, going 7 strong innings without giving up a run on 3 hits with 9 K's & 1 walk. The offense went off by clubbing 5 home runs -- 2 by Pedroia, 2 by Ramirez & 1 by Betts. Pedroia put the Sox on the board with his 1st inning solo shot & Ramirez capped the scoring with his 2nd homer of the day, a grand slam in the 9th. Nice, nice win to settle down Red Sox Nation as Cole Hamels just wasn't good today. A great way to start the season. Too bad we have to wait until Wednesday for the next game.
