One Got Away

All indications are that the AL East will be a tight race all year long.  That's why losing a game when you are up 5-1 is one that you would like to have back.  Joe Kelly, like most young pitchers who throw hard, is prone to control issues.  Kelly was cruising into the 6th & then he lost his command & control.  Before you know it the score is 5-5.  The bullpen has been overworked lately &, unfortunately, Edward Mujica gave up the go-ahead runs.  Sox lose 7-5, but they remain in 1st by a game over the Orioles & Yankees.  Good to see Papi & Pedey go yard & very good to see Nap get a couple of hits.  The goal is to win series & that's what the Sox can do tonight if Buck can rebound from a couple of poor starts.

The starters need to be going deeper in the game than they have. Hamels please.
