Mookie Has A Day!

Mookie Betts had one of those days.  A double steal - first of 2nd base, then onto 3rd because of the shift on Big Papi.  Mookie slid headfirst into 3rd just before the tag by Nats P Jordan Zimmerman.  Betts bangs into the RC bullpen wall to take away a home run from Bryce Harper.  Then, for good measure, he hits a 3-run homer into the monster seats.  And this is all happening in the 1st 2 innings of a game that the Sox would eventually win 9-4.  Big Papi added a homer.  Rick Porcello pitched 8 workmanlike innings to get his 1st win as a Red Sox.  Tom Brady threw out the 1st pitch.  Weather was great.  Sellout crowd.  What more can you ask for on opening day?  Great start to this homestand.
