Ineffective Pitching Again

To say the Red Sox pitching was "ineffective" is an insult to the word ineffective.  Clay Buchholz - 5 runs.  Edward Mujica - 3 runs.  Anthony Vavarro - 1 run.  Craig Breslow - 1 run.  Junichi Tazawa - 1 run.  11 runs given up in an 11-8 loss to the Blue Jays.  When your offense scores 8 runs you should win, period.  The NESN postgame show mentioned 8 or 9 starts is what Farrell uses to evaluate pitchers.  Well, 5th time through the rotation doesn't show improvement, in fact it shows deterioration.  Another week or two of these wishy-washy effort by Buchholz & Miley & it may be time for an unknown injury to place them both on the DL for awhile.  Let's try internal prospects like Wright, Johnson & Owens for 3 or 4 starts before the trade deadline.  The fact that Buck was standing around the pitcher's mound again instead of backing up home is an indication that his head is not in the game.  A good offensive effort goes by the boards again because of ineffective pitching.  It's only April & we sound like a broken record already.
