Bigger Picture

For some reason the 2nd anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings is hitting me today.  Yes, the Red Sox lost 10-5.  Poor pitching which we can talk about on tomorrow's off day.  But let's not lose the bigger picture, namely victims who were killed & victims who survived who are coping with a forever altered life.  The pre-game ceremony celebrated the survivors as heroes - which they truly are, as are the caregivers & family & friends who help them adjust to life without a limb or two.  On the same day that Aaron Hernandez is found guiltry of murder & will face life in prison, we think about Martin Richard - a symbol of innocence & about a young life taken much too soon.  There will be another game on Friday.  But the families of the fallen & the many survivors go onto living another day as best they can.  They are Boston Strong.  God bless to all!
