2nd Anniversary of Boston Bombings

It's hard to believe that it was 2 years ago today that the Boston Marathon bombings took place.  I saw an ESPN E:360 show which updated the progress of a few victims.  One survivor - a husband & a father - had endured over 16 trips to the ER & over 30 surgical procedures in the past 24 months.  Their pain, their lives will never be the same.  And sometimes we forget that, so shame on me & shame on us.  Our worst day is nothing compared to theirs & their families.  The Red Sox halted their game today at 2:49 with a moment of silence to pay tribute to the 4 souls who died.  In 2013 a force large than life - call it fate, call it God - propelled the Red Sox through the regular season, through the playoffs & through to another World Series Championship to help bring the city back to life.  Sometimes the right thing happens.  We will never forget 2013.
