The Haters of Big Papi

It's part of being a public figure.  Every word & action is overanalyzed.  You can argue good or bad about any situation.  Just look no farther than the Republicans & Democrats who are divided on every issue.  We should fire them all, but that's anoither issue.  David Ortiz needed a few days off.  He is 39 & the grind of 30+ games in spring training is not necessary for a guy his age.  He knows how to hit.  He doesn't need 50 to 60 AB's in March.  Leave the big guy alone, reporters, who think the Sox made up a story about dehydration & soreness to give Ortiz a few days off.  Who cares?  It's March.  Same with Koji at 40 years old.  Let him rest his hamstring so he's good to go in April.  He knows how to pitch.  Spring training in Fort Myers has gone very well with few to no big line stories for reporters to write about.  So if Big Papi takes a few days off, that's headlines.  I'm glad I'm a nobody.
