Napoli Considered Retiring After 2014

A story on WEEI's blog mentions that Mike Napoli was seriously considering retirement after his injury-riddled 2014 season. His offensive numbers were the worst of his career. Besiding body injuries to his finger & back Nap also suffered from sleep apneia, a condition which required a medical procedure to fix in the off-season. He is healthy now & goes on to say that the club in 2015 is starting to jive in spring training. A healthy & productive Mike Napoli will only lengthen an already good lineup. A bounce-back year from Nap, Victorino & Pedroia will spell lots of problems for opposing pitchers. We love Nap & he loves Boston. Here's to a good 2015!
