Sox Extend Farrell Through 2017

John Farrell got an extension to manage the Red Sox through 2017 with an option for 2018. Why not? Farrell's teams either finish 1st or last, so we cut out the in-between, almost-ran scenarios. There are no other managers out there than knock your socks off & Farrell can handle the Boston media. He can also be a 2nd set of eyes on his pitching staff to keep them in balance. I'm OK with this extension.
