Winter Meeting Thoughts

First, what is Billy Beane doing dismantling his team by trading his best players for spare parts? No one gets what he is doing with his Marlins-like fire sale. Second, I'm disappointed that waiting for Lester's decision made the Red Sox lose out on getting Jeff Samardzija. Billy sold the Shark for 4 bit players which the Sox could have easily ponied up. Third, nice job White Sox adding several pieces to their everyday lineup. The White Sox also got David Robertson away from the Yankees. Lastly, no moves by the Orioles is surprising since they lost Miller, Cruz & Markakis. It's been a weird winter meetings so far & there are still 2 days left.
