Will the Sox Find Pitchers This Week?

Yes, expect the Sox to get a yay or nay on Jon Lester this week. I would expect that to happen before the winter meetings start later this weekend. Then Scherzer will get his deal & other trades will go down. If necessary, the Sox can clean house of 7 to 10 prospects & a few roster players to address their pitching needs all by trade. Plan A - I hope that Lester returns. If not, the Sox can move onto Cole Hamels or Johnny Cueto or both. These guys can be legit #1 starters. Chris Sale would be another guy that I would trade several prospects & players for. Maybe they take a chance with more friendly trades for Fister & Zimmermann - neither will command as many key players as Hamels or Cueto. Then the Sox could make smaller deals - a Brandon McCarthy, a Zake Wheeler, etc. Lots & lots of scenarios to go through. But it all starts when Jon Lester makes his decision.
