Can't Win

One TV channel likes the moves the Red Sox made to add to their rotation. Another wants the Boston brass blindfolded & shot. I honestly don't believe that any move would have been praised 100%, even bringing Jon Lester back at any cost. These same reporters would say the Sox spent too much. Let's just all take a deep breath. You know Ben is not done yet. If he keeps the same theme of young, 20-somethings, big league tested pitchers for 2015, I think that Jordan Zimmermann may be the next addition. Unlike Lou Merloni, I am not ready to give up Joe Kelly for Zimmermann as Kelly has a lot of upside. But I would give up Clay Buchholz though. Finish this rotation makeover by trading a guy with #1 stuff who is sitting at the back end of the rotation because you can't count on him. Buchholz & any other Red Sox prospect or big league extra for Zimmermann works for me. A rotation of Zimmermann, Miley, Porcello, Masterson & Kelly works for me.
