Ben Is Not Done

Still on Ben Cherington's shopping list. 1 ace pitcher to add to a new rotation. My suggestion is to package Buchholz in a trade to get Hamels or Zimmermann. 1 backup catcher. Get Ross back or let Swihart have a shot at the big team. We are talking 60 games or 3 out of every 10 games to backup Vazquez. Add 2 bullpen pieces. Sergio Romo could be a good addition. A lefty would help as well. Otherwise, use in-house options with Workman & Barnes, even Ranaudo if he stays with the big club. Tazawa & Uehara are due for bounce back years. Mujica seems like he figured things out late last year too. It's a short list, but you need 25 guys to make a run at the playoffs. Let's keep the makeover rolling, Ben!
