Sandoval Offer Coming

After the Panda's visit to Fenway & his meeting with the Red Sox brass, reports are that the Red Sox will be making Sandoval an offer. The Sox will be bidding against the Giants & Blue Jays. I guess $100 million doesn't buy you what it use to & I would rate Pablo as an above-average player, but not a superstar. Then there's the weight thing. However, the Sox need a left-handed bat & Sandoval fits that need. Right place, right time type of thing. I hope that the other teams don't overreach & offer him $100 mil or more. If the Sox can land him at $80 to $90 million, I guess that's a good deal in today's market. The money is ridiculous.
