Report: Sox Acquire Sandoval & Ramirez

CBS Sports & MLB Network say the Sox have reached deals with Pablo Sandoval & Hanley Ramirez. If so, the Sox middle of the order would be formidable - Ortiz, Ramirez, Sandoval, Napoli. Sandoval would play 3B while Ramirez would most likely move to LF. The Sox would trade excess outfielders, including Cespedes or Victorino, to bring back a starting pitcher. Who thought that the Sox would strike first for offense instead of pitching?
