2015 Red Sox Roster - Steve

My podcast partner Steve completed his Ben Cherington scenario for this off-season. Steve has a couple of assumptions. First, the Red Sox management will be in panic mode to put a competitive team on the field. Second, money is not an object. With those assumptions here is Steve's 25-man roster. Starting pitchers - Max Scherzer signs as free agent; Cole Hamels acquired via trade; Clay Buchholz; Rubby De La Rosa; Allen Webster. Bullpen - Koji Uehara; Junichi Tazawa; Burke Badenhop gets re-signed; Matt Barnes; Brandon Workman. Outfield - Yasmany Tomas gets signed as free agent; Yoenis Cespedes; Rusney Castillo; Daniel Nava; Mookie Betts. Infield - Pablo Sandoval gets signed as free agent; Dustin Pedroia; Xander Bogaerts; Mike Napoli; Will Middlebrooks; Brock Holt. IF / OF - Allen Craig. C - Cristian Vazquez; Ryan Lavarnway.
