As the World Series begins tonight, there has been talk about free agent to be Pablo Sandoval coming to Boston & playing 3B next year. Like Russell Martin, I don't see Sandoval being a good fit. His cost will outweigh (no pun intended about his weight) his production. No question he would be a nice switch hitter to have in your lineup. But if we have $50-$55 million to spend on free agents I would rather spend the money on Lester, Shields & resigning Koji. Pitching is where the biggest need is.
