Surprise Saguaros - AFL

I had a chance to drive to Surprize, AZ yesterday & see the fall league game between the Surprise Saguaros & Scottsdale Scorpions (lots of S's). The Surprise team includes players from the Red Sox system. While I was hoping to see Rusney Castillo play, unfortunately all I saw was him in the dugout sporting a very cool looking mohawk. He was out of the lineup. I did see Sean Coyle & Deven Marrero in action. Coyle is a small 2B, but he shot a double down LF line & played flawless in the field. Marrero was the DH & he had a rough day, no balls out of the infield. A couple of Sox relievers, Robby Scott & Madison Younginer, got an inning each as the Saguaros won 7-3. I may try to catch Rusney again before he goes to play in Puerto Rico in November.
