Each team won a game by 5 or more runs, odd by World Series standards where you expect low scoring games. James Shields has been horrible throughout the playoffs &, if this were the regular season, he could use a stint on the DL for a tired arm. You can only throw 200 innings a year for so many years. It looks like Shields has hit the wall & his playoff performance may de-value his marketability in free agency. Jake Peavy just can't win a World Series game. He was horrible for the Sox last year & he was horrible last night for the Giants. I give the edge to KC for better starting pitching & a better bullpen. Finally, have you noticed the goofy guy behind home plate in the orange Marlins jersey with the crooked hat? What planet is he from? And how did he get that seat in Kansas City?
