Josh Becket Retires

He should have been the 2007 Cy Young Award winner. He led the Boston Red Sox to a 2nd World Series win in 3 years after an 86 year drought. He should have been named the World Series MVP. That was Josh Becket then. Unfortunately, Becket will be remembered for 2012, the beer & chicken, golfing on an off day while he was injured & the trade to the LA Dodgers. Boston fans forgive as they have with Rocket Man & Nomar. Maybe somewhere down the road Sox fans will clap for Becket when he returns to be honored at Fenway with the 2007 team.
