Giants Win!

The San Francisco Giants become the second wild card team to make it through to the 2014 World Series. They will play the surprising KC Royals next week in the fall classic. Old friend Jake Peavy gets a chance to win a 2nd ring in as many years. And as much as the Red Sox have won 3 championships in 10 years, the Giants can make it 3 wins in 5 years. You could say that the Sox & Giants have dominated for the past 10 post-seasons. The sentimental favorite of this series has to be the Royals, but you have to respect the Giants pulling things together enough at the end to make the playoffs. They are the last west coast team standing. No Dodgers. No Angels. No A's. No Mariners. And certainly no Padres. It will be the west versus the mid-west. Fox will not be happy with no east coast fans looking in. O well, Joe Buck. Good job, Giants!
