Clint Hurdle will be answering questions all off-season about his decision to pitch Gerritt Cole in game 162 instead of saving him for the wild card game. Edison Volquez was not up to the task against the Giants. His demeanor does not exude confidence & Volquez gave up a bases loaded bomb to Brandon Crawford early. Game over. Baumgartner was lights out. I'm glad to see the Giants advance since I got to see a game at AT&T Park, aka Pac Bell in the old days. The Giants remind me of the Red Sox - feast of famine. World Series wins in 2010 & 2012 & not much in-between. Since 2014 is an even number year, maybe the Giants can pull off another ring. I think that they will give the Nats a run for their money.
