The magical season of 2014 for the Kansas City Royals came to an end last night with a 3-2 loss in game 7 of the World Series. All-world Madison Baumgarner shut down the Royals offense with 5 scoreless innings of relief. Baumgarner was an easy MVP choice. The Giants become the 1st team since the 1940's to win 3 series rings over a 5 year span. The cut the Red Sox 3 rings in 10 years time by half. Neither the Royals nor Giants were expected to be 1 of the last 2 teams standing. So good seasons in 2014 for both franchises. 2015 starts today.
