Closer - Check!

One day after the end of the World Series the Red Sox began the work of assembling their team for 2015. First job - get a closer. And they stayed with a familiar face in Koji Uehara. Koji keeps his job for 2 more years on an $18 million deal. Not Jonathan Papelbon money, but close enough. It will be nearly impossible for Koji to duplicate his stats from 2013, but you can expect an 85%-90% success ratio in closing games from this ageless wonder. With Edward Mujica turning things around in the 2nd half of last season he may take some work off of Koji so as not to wear him out during the regular season. Koji was a big part of the 2013 chanpionship season, a guy the Red Sox couldn't have won without. He deserves this last contract before he retires. Now onto building a starting rotation.
