A-Rod Messing With Yankee Plans

My podcast buddy Steve sent me an article written by Joel Sherman on Alex Rodriguez & his effect on the composition of the Yankees in 2015. A-Rod will be 40 years old. He has 3 years & $61 million left on his contract. What can the Yankees expect from him? Can he play? Will he be healthy? Can he be productive after missing a full year? A-Rod & his contract is an albatross around the Yankees neck, hampering them from composing a team that can compete in a much tougher AL East. The Red Sox, Rays & O's will all be contenders next year. Jays not so much. The Yankees had major injuries to Sabathia & Tanaka. Beltran was off the field more than on down the stretch. No Jeter. Teixeira is another year older. It's going to be awhile before the Yankees figure this whole thing out. Couldn't be happier!!
