2014 Almost Over

OK Red Sox fans - 2014 is almost over. We finished last in the AL East. We jettisoned players to get Yoenis Cespedes, Joe Kelly & Allen Craig. We signed Rusney Castillo. The offense looked better in September. Starting pitchers were given tryouts over the final 2 months. Maybe Rubby De La Rosa gets a rotation spot. Maybe Matt Barnes gets a bullpen spot. Maybe Brandon Workman fits better in the pen. Will Middlebrooks & JBJ either get another year to show what they can do or they become trade bait. Mookie & Bogaerts showed promise in September. The Sox will fill their wish list for Christmas by finding 2 starting pitchers first, then decide about the left side of the infield & another catcher if David Ross is done. Lots of players available for trade deals. Lots of money available to sign any free agent they choose to. It should all start happening before Thanksgiving. Get ready for November.
