Sox Winning Streak Over

Taking 2 out of 3 on the road is acceptable anytime. But Joe Kelly deserved a win which was botched by Junichi Tazawa who just can't pitch against the Jays. The Jays roughed up Taz - again - with a pinch-hit 3 run homer in the 7th by Danny Valencia & they go on to win 5-2. David Ortiz made his way back into the lineup & he contributed 2 hits & an RBI. Red Sox manager John Farrell rested Yoenis Cespedes yesterday & all the Sox have a day off today as they get set for a Labor Day Weekend in Tampa Bay against the Rays. Rusney Castillo is working out in Fort Myers, so there may be a Rusney sighting while the Sox are in Tampa. Best guess is that Castillo will join the big club in mid-September after a few weeks of workouts & play in minor league games.
