Sox Win Series in Anaheim

Webster on Friday. Buchholz on Saturday. De La Rosa on Sunday. Three nice starts by the current rotation as the Red Sox win 2 of 3 against the Angels. Throw in a 19 inning loss on Saturday, extended to Sunday morning, & the Sox will take a road series win anytime. Cespedes blasts his 1st HR as a Sox. Butler catches his first game. And even though runs throughout this series were at a premium, the Sox put a wrench in the LA Angels of Anaheim's post-season aspirations. I love Trout, don't like Sciosca at all. Going back to the rotation, there is no way that the Sox go with 4 young guns & Buchholz next year as their starting 5 arms. But it was nice to see all 3 pitchers have a good run through the rotation in La-La-Land. I'd still like to see more of Ranaudo & I'd like to see Allen Craig play more this year to see how the lineup gets lengthened out before the strikeout bats of Bogaerts, Bradley & Middlebrooks come up. Tough year for those guys. A day off is needed before 2 more in Cincinnati with no DH. Good road win!
