Sox Lose Again

Clay Buchholz couldn't make it 3 good starts in a row, giving up several walks & 6 runs in 6 innings. Sox lose 8-3. Old Man River David Ortiz keeps banging out home runs, his 30th last night in a 4-for-4 offensive performance for number 34. Big Papi has accounted for a majority of the Red Sox offense this entire season & you wonder how long he can continue at this pace. I'm sure there are a lot of PED skeptics out there & rightly so. Angels star pitcher Richards got injured on a freak play covering 1B. And the Angels have a big series coming up in Oakland this weekend. There are a lot of good races as we hit the end of August & we come down the home stretch in September. Too bad we are not part of it, but no one else can claim 3 championships in 10 years. I'll take the 3 rings & give the Sox a mulligan this year.
