"Mentor" Buchholz No Lester or Lackey

Clay Buchholz is no mentor. 7 runs in 5 innings of work, blowing 2 leads. Sox lose 8-7. Given the Sox propensity to win now, we may see Clay Buchholz packaged up in a deal to be shipped out this off-season. If not coming back from odd injuries, then it's his control this year. Buck is not even close to being the dominant pitcher from the 1st half of last season before his injury kept him out pretty much all of the 2nd half, coming back just in time for limited playoff work. To me a mentor is someone who leads by example & someone who gets positive results. Jon Lester - yes. Clay Buchholz - no. You need to find a new leader, Ben. How about re-signing an old one?
