Koji Blows Another Game

The Red Sox took a 3-0 lead into the 9th, thanks to a Yoenis Cespedes 3-run homer off of King Felix. As usual, Koji came in to close the game out. However, he left after giving up 5 runs. Sox lose 5-3. That's a buzz kill! I think it's time for Farrell to give his closer a week of rest before using the 39 year old again. Koji blew a game earlier in the week against the Angels. He has not been himself lately. Both Koji & Tazawa have not been as effective or as dependable as last year. Maybe all of these appearances are finally catching up with the Japanese 8th & 9th inning guys. My man Allen Craig has not gotten his rhythm at the plate back yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do on a regular basis. Overall, this has been an ugly home stand.
