JBJ Down, Mookie Up

It was time for Jackie Bradley, Jr. to go down to Pawtucket & time for the Red Sox to see if Mookie Betts can be a major league center-fielder. With Dustin Pedroia anchoring 2B for the next several years Mookie had to find another position to play. Betts has continued to hit in Pawtucket, so why not see what you have. Mookie got a hit in last night's game & played fine in the outfield. Once Allen Craig gets back from his rehab stint it will be a crowded Red Sox outfield with Betts, Cespedes, Nava, Craig, Holt & next year Victorino & Bradley. Surplus outfielders & surplus pitching will be Ben's trade bait to land a starting pitcher or two, maybe a 3rd baseman or shortstop, & maybe another big outfield bat. Changes - they are a comin'!
