The Sox have won 8 of 9 &, yes I'm going to say it, they are climbing back into the wild card conversation. The Sox need to pick-up a game per week in the standings to be in contention by September. One bad series & it's over. The math says that it is still possible to make the playoffs, but the math also says that climbing over 6 other teams is very improbable.
