Miller to O's, Drew to Yankees

The Red Sox get a high double-A pitching prospect for Andrew Miller who goes to Baltimore to shore up their bullpen for a playoff run. Amnd the Stephen Drew experiment ends with Drew going to the Yankees for Kelly Johnson, basically a swap of infielders, clearing the way for Xander Bogaerts to move back to SS & setting up the return of Will Middlebrooks to 3B. Bogaerts & Middlebrooks get 2 months to prove that they can add offense & defense to this team before the season ends & more decisions are made about the 2015 team. Brock Holt will have a tougher time finding playing time now with Cespedes & Craig on board. Holt may split time with JBJ, Middlebrooks & Bogaerts to get into games every other day.

I love the deal for Drew. Gomes as well. I have never been a big fan of either. Drew was a mistake from day 1, especially for the $$$$. Gomes had no clue in left, and was less than mediocre at the plate at best.
