Doubront to Cubs

Felix Doubront got his wish. He got traded to old friend Theo Epstein's Cubs for a player to be named later. If Theo's coaches can motivate Doubront to put in a full year at maximum effort, then the Cubs got a serviceable starter for several years down the road. The Red Sox just gave up on Doubront after inconsistent performance & effort over the past 3 to 4 years. Maybe a change of scenery will do him well. He did not seem to figure into the Red Sox long-range plans.
