All-Star Game That's Not

Too much voting for fan favorites instead of the best players. Jeter, Wieters are good examples. Jeter is not an all-star shortstop at 40 years old & Wieters had Tommy John earlier this year. "This time it means something" just doesn't matter for 28 teams. Like most all-star contests it's just a show with no substance. Most players fake an injury so they can get their 3 days off. Koji, like Tim Wakefield, appreciates the honor to play in 1 all-star game later in his twilight. And Koji has earned the right, even though he is a replacement for Tanaka. Let's get this thing over with & get back to baseball games that matter.
