Red Sox 10, Indians 3
A winning streak of 2 games. We'll take it! Another consistent performance in all 3 phases - John Lackey, the Boston offense & the Red Sox defense - equals another win. Mad Dog Russo on the MLB Network had just said that Dustin Pedroia needed to come alive offensively for the Sox to make a move. The Red Sox 2nd baseman did just that last night with 2 hits & 2 RBI. In addition, Pedroia earned the JBJ award from the previous night by making 2 excellent plays in the field. I root for Daniel Nava who is coming alive with his bat - 5 hits in the last 2 games. Good to see him producing again. So the Sox can do no less than split with Tito's men. If Lackey & Lester can continue to give good starts to this rotation every 5th day, the Sox should stay away from future prolonged losing streaks. Jake Peavy needs to get on track this afternoon & give this rotation another solid start.
