Mookie Gets First Hit

Mookie Betts made his major league debut in RF at Yankee Stadium. He reached base twice & scored a run on offense. He also misplayed a ball in RF & got thrown out trying to steal. All in all, an OK start for a converted 2B who has had as many starts in RF as Brock Holt. Speed makes up for a lot of deficiencies in the field, something that he & JBJ have. Speaking of Bradley, how about his perfect 1-hop throw home to get Beltran last night! If the Sox can be patient with his bat, JBJ will more than make up for little offense with his defense.
